Melissa was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her. Her compassion for others was a special gift and her love for family and God was evident in the life she led. The suddenness with which she was stolen from us has shocked and saddened us, but I know that heaven gained another angel this week. Sweet Melissa, you will be greatly missed.

Melissa will be remembered with a beautiful smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. She brought Joy to all that knew her and that Joy will continue every time we think of her. My heart goes out to her family. In my thoughts, I’ll just keep hearing her say – Hey Pamla/Tamla. I miss you Melissa B.

Melissa B. and I became fast friends when I started working at Deloitte in 1999. She was a tremendous help to me in my role at Deloitte and once we got to know each other, we always ended our “work” conversation by sharing a funny story about our respective children. May God bring comfort to the family she so suddenly left behind. Melissa was a true sweetheart!

Doug hearing this of the loss of your wife ripped my heart out and i stopped and Prayed for you. Thats not often for me but i needed to express my concern for you loss and the pain you have to be going thru. I still question why the ones we love are ripped from us and still have no answers. No one’s soul ever leaves us as long as someone Remembers them. As long as you can remember Melissa she will always be with you.

Melissa was always ready to lend a hand, offer suggestions, never demeaning. Her ready smile lit up a room and the celebration of her short time in our world is a tribute to her undying spirit. She will always be remembered for her intelligence and joy of spirit, one who truly lived a life of purpose. Every person that knew her has benefitted from her engaging personality, and she will continue to be someone to emulate in our lives. Carpe diem.

There was a saint who said “The glory of God is a human being fully alive.” Melissa was one such human being. My first real conversation with Melissa was when her twins were small, and she came looking for advice on coping with work and kids since she knew I also was a parent of twins. The one thing I remember about that conversation was that she took some comfort in hearing that a lot of success boiled down to just flying by the seat of your pants. I had no doubt that she was going to be a great parent. People like Melissa have made this world a better place.
