Dimple Murphey Price, July 17, 2018, age 93 of Springfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Price; sister, Anne Murphey Head. Survived by daughter, Georganne (Howard) Hughes, and Lulu (Rick) Corbitt; brothers, Dewall Murphey Jr., and Jimmy (Faye) Murphey; grandchildren, April (Clay) Watson, Jeannie (Josh) Noblitt, Braun (Mary Carlie) Corbitt, Kelli (Paul) Mormon, Brooke (Jason) Garrett; great-grandchildren, Clayton and Kennedy Watson, Harper and Thomas Noblitt, Kittrell and Price Corbitt, Mary Katherine, Hadleigh, and Anna Caroline Mormon, Presley, Blakely, and Hunter Garrett. Mrs. Price was a long time member of Springfield Baptist Church, a member of the D.A.R, and loved playing bridge. Visitation will be at Springfield Funeral Home Friday from 4-8 pm, and Saturday from 10 am until service time at 11 am with Rev. Martin Babb, officiating. Interment to follow at Springfield Memorial Gardens. For those desiring donations may be made to the building fund or library fund at Springfield Baptist Church.

    Sorry Peter and I will be unable to attend Dimple’s funeral. Our family from Arizona is visiting us this week. We loved Dimple very much and always saw her for lunch or dinner when we were visiting Springfield. She will be greatly missed.

    Lulu, Georganne and Families, The Price and Briggs Families shared so many good times together growing up. I’ll never forget the laughter and love we shared. I’ll always cherish those memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with y’all.

    Lula, So sorry to hear about your Mother ‘s oassing Remember all the days spent stsying at your House! Your Daddy teaching us how to make baked frdnch fries! And fishing! Everytime I take my grandchildren’s boys fishing, I remember your Daddy taking us! Thank you and you and your family for the memories!! I have passed them down to my grsndchildren!
