Brenda and Tim, I am so sorry for your loss. I admired Dovie, she was so sweet to me as a child and as an adult. She loved my mother (aunt Nell) and went to see her often. I will always remember her kindness. My prayers are with you and your families.

I had a wonderful visit with your mother last week. It was a joy to get to know her. She appreciated the prayers, scriptures, and hymns I shared with her. I am out of town this week or I would see you at the celebration of life. May God’s comfort abound to you, Joe Rushing
