Though I did not have the privilege to know Cade, I express my sympathy to the family and pray for their comfort. I am an employee at Vanderbilt and have heard nothing but great things about Cade.

Nikki,Jamie,Mike, and Brice: Cade was such a wonderful Christian man and I loved him with all my heart. I remember the day he was born, his first steps, the day he married, and I will never forget the day he went to be with the Lord and I know he was met at the door with open arms, huggs and kisses from God, and from his grandmother who loved him to death and from his grandfather who finally gets to hold him in his arms. This is hard, I know it is, but God will take care of you here on earth if you let Him, and if you listen to Him, and He is taking care of Cade in Heaven already. I know Cade is happy and pain free. Remember the good times, hold on to your memories, and look forward to tomorrow when you WILL see Cade again. I love you all and I’m praying for you always.

I work at Vanderbilt and was privileged to know Cade. I am saddened by his loss. He is a very special person. On a bad day he could put a smile on your face. I know he is at peace now. My thoughts and prayers are with the loved ones he left behind.

Don’t stand by my grave and weep,
For I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint of snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn’s rain.
When you awaken in the morning, hush.
For I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circle flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand by my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die.

I am so sorry for your lose, Cade truely was a shinning star. He will be greatly missed. I apoligize for not being able to make it to the funeral, but know that I wish I could have been. I worked with Cade at Wal-Mart pharmacy. He definately made working there fun. We’ve missed him since he left for Vanderbilt but were happy for him. He was always able to make us laugh and was so much fun to be around. He had a way about him to make people comfortable, and he always reminded us how to have fun even on the craziest days. He will be greatly missed and if you need anything you can always call us at the pharmacy and we’ll be there for you however you need.

Mr. Mike, Ms. Jamie, Brice, Nikki, and Colin,
I know that not much can be said to take away the hurt that you are all feeling but I just wanted all of you to know that I am sorry for your loss and Cade was the best friend that anyone could ever ask for. I talked to Cade on the phone shortly before he got married and he was so excited to take on his role as not only a husband but as a father as well. I will never forget a concert we went to with the youth group and Cade wanted to join the mosh-pit so he did and was having a blast, well eventually the mosh-pit cleared out but Cade was still going strong, eventually security went and made him come sit down. But now he is in a place were he can dance all he wants and nobody will stop him. Cade was a very special person and meant so much to me and I just hope that he knew that.

I was privledged to meet Cade and Nikki at Odessa College in music classes. I was blessed to see thier love form and grow from almost the first time they met. Cade was the sweetest man I have ever met with a heart of gold. His talent was amazing. He had something about him that I can only call God’s special blessing that never failed to pass on to everyone he came in contact with if only to make them smile no matter what. Nikki again I am so sorry for you and Colin and all of Cade’s family.
