We’ll be with Uncle Richard in eternity before we know it, but it is still too hard this side of eternity. What an amazing blessing from God to have gotten to be his niece. Annette, Robin, Nancy, and Rick – amazing how the comfort and strength of God are keeping you going. Still can’t believe this is real. Praying for you and your families – love y’all and will be there soon.

Would like to extend deepest sympathy to the family from another old “Aetnoid”. Though physically separated by many miles I worked with Richard for several years and was saddened to hear this news.

I’m so blessed to have had Uncle Richard in my life – from childhood through allowing Dick and I to meet in Nashville at your house during our courtship days! Family gatherings won’t be the same without him.
We love you all and grieve with you on this side of eternity…
    Love, Laura

Annette, Robin, Nancy, Rick, and to all of of his beloved family:
I was so saddedned to have received the word of Richard’s passing last evening. I am confident of where he is today because he made Christ his Lord and Savior as a boy and was a wonderful Christain man who exemplified his faith through his life and his family. I have many good memories of Richard and of all of you from my early chilhood until our mother’s passing.
I hope that your hearts are lifted by the Great Comforter and that the next few days, weeks and years can go by and time lessen the heartache of missing his presence in your earthly lives. You all can rejoice tomorrow in celebration that by God’s grace Richard has been reunited with all of those that have gone before him and he has been received into the loving arms of the Father.
I and my family send our love and deepest sympathy for your loss and we are praying for all of you during your time of grief.
    Sister, sister-in-law- and aunt, Peggy
