“I’m from the old school” was your mantra. It was a respected way of life that we both revered, especially when it came to nurturing family and friends. Last we spoke in October, over our usual vodka on ice, I was off to Maryland to help my dad, hence my absence today. But I am here in spirit.

On our first cruise on my “Utopia” I made a toast to the man of the “Pied Piper”. Over the years, we saluted each other with it often. In honor of your last journey, here’s to you, one last time:

“There are iron ships and steel ships, but there is NO ship like a great friendship!”

    Thanks for being my friend!
