Age 71, of Hendersonville lost his battle with cancer on Tuesday, December 5, 2006. Retired from the Nashville District, US Army Corps of Engineers after 44 years. John also served for over 25 years with the Boy Scouts of America, and served 14 years with the Society of American Military Engineers. He is survived by his wife, Joan; children, Andy Lambrecht, Ann Martin, Evan Lambrecht, Patrick Earls, Regina Earls and Jonathan Earls; and nine grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home, Friday, December 8, 2006 from 4pm until 9pm. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Sumner County.
