Loretta Lorraine Willis Age 72 of Hendersonville passed away January 22, 2014. Preceded in death by her husband, William R. Willis; son, Michael V. Willis. Survived by her children, Christine L. Lind (David) & Robert B. Willis; grandchildren, Jason L. Birdsell, Nicholas R. Birdsell, Gregory A. Lind & Sarah D. Willis; great-grandson, Nicholas “Peyton” Birdsell; special cousin, Barbara Christensen; sisters-in-law, Betty Sanders & Lois Scoles; beloved pet, Gigi.     Loretta was the best friend and sister-in-law that anyone could ask for. I will sorely miss having her in my life but will celebrate the times that we did share. While she may be gone, her presense lives on in all of us who had the joy of being part of her life and her part of ours.

    Our friendship was not very long but I truly considered her a great friend. Many birthdays and telephone conversations are now in the past but I remember them well. Loretta was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met. God bless her memory and her family.
