Marilda was a lovely, caring person who adored Nathan, her children, grandchildren, family and her students. Her goal was that you do your best in everything. She celebrated her faith and shared her joy with others through the various organizations at Our Lady of Lourdes and she made Mass even more beautiful when sang in the choir. Even though Hugh and I have moved from Springfield, we have missed her spirit and kindness. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I met Marilda in 1968. She met with some of us from those days in the Hermitage area for lunch at various places. We would arrange our meetings around her school schedule because she always wanted to be with her old friends. She was a real lady and good friend. I loved her smile and she will be missed by so many. The picture here is lovely! I would welcome email from any of her family. Mert Ray
