      Dear Judy,

Thank you so much for your kind words of sympathy. My Momma thought the world of you and your family too. I can’t tell you how deeply it touched me that you came to her service…we still miss her so very much, I don’t suppose that will ever go away. My father lives in California and it was so very hard to watch him loose a child, age doesn’t matter, it’s just not natural…he said he thought it would be easier once he got home but it’s been harder…maybe it really sets in….life is wonderful, exciting and joyful but can be sad and painful too. I suppose it’s keeping a balance that is important.

I wanted you to know you gave my Mother a gift once long ago, it was a grape figurine with the grapes made of big round red glass balls, she always kept it in the center of her dresser…it meant a lot to her. I wish she’d gotten to enjoy retirement and maybe reconnected with people she cared about…she retired 1 year…so sad…she worked at Avco(Textrtron, Aerostructures) for 30 years not counting all the other jobs all of her life and second jobs..just didn’t seem fair to only get one year but life isn’t always fair. I hope you are enjoying your retirement. I saw a picture of Tina and her son on facebook and your grandson is so handsome, you must be very proud of him. I have two that have graduated college and my youngest is a sophomore at Tenn Tech this year…they all went to Tech, we’ve all really liked it there and I love the little town of Cookeville, it reminds me of Hendersonville back in the day, small towns are nice.

Thank you again Judy, you take the time and it means so much! God Bless, Love, Theresa

Became aware of Mark’s passing through a random search. My heart is very touched by the family’s loss of Mark and your Mom, also. I have thought of the days that we shared our life with each other so often and have wondered about your Dad, you, Mark, Bobby, John and Mary. The span of time and lack of contact has not taken away my love and concern for you all. It is really hard to put into words what I am feeling. Just know that I care…always have. I would love to hear from you.
    May God comfort you,
