Sandra Ann Poole Watson, age 59 of Greenbrier, passed away on March 7, 2016 at Centennial Medical Center.
She was born on January 27, 1957 to the late Walter E. and Molly Gibbs Poole in Frankfort, Germany.
Mrs. Sandra was described as a loving, caring, and amazing women. She worked for 20 years for Holley Performance Products, then went to work for Dr. Holston in Cross Plains for a few years, and spent the last 4 years Substitute Teaching in Robertson County.
She had a passion for coaching young softball players, coaching 3 generations of her family and close friends, over the course of 30 years. She had an eye for batters; she could fix your swing in 3 pitches or less and had numerous wins though-out her career.
A few years ago she had a young girl playing for her and she told her father “She will be a great player one day”. Mrs. Sandra worked with the young girl many nights before and after practices and games to condition her skills. In high school that little girl won TSSAA Player of the Year in both her freshman and sophomore years along with the Miss Softball Award, she is currently in her junior year and committed to Lipscomb University where she plans to pursue a Law Degree. This is just one story of many that shows the dedication and love Mrs. Sandra had for her players and the game.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sandra is preceded in death by her sister, Pam Poole.
