A life celebration memorial service will be conducted on Friday, January 10, 2014 at 3pm in the chapel of Hendersonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. In keeping with Tom's personal preference for flip flops and shorts we invite everyone to come celebrate Tom's life with us in the casual way for which he was known.

Aimee and I are truly saddened by the news. We will always remember Tom, our flip-flopped neighbor for so many years who always seemed to be enjoying life. I told Aimee that if Jimmy Buffett lived in Hendersonville he and Tom would probably be best friends! Whether he was walking around the yard doing odds and ends or playing with the dogs, he always had time for a friendly visit. I will never forget how thankful and relieved I was to see Tom standing at the front door with one of our pups that often got loose. Good neighbors are hard to find but Tom was a gem. Godbless and we pray that you find peace and comfort around friends and family during this time.
