WALKER, Mike – Age 57 of Portland passed away July 8, 2013 at his home. He was born April 19, 1956 in Nashville, TN to the late Alex Walker and Hattie Bell Oakley. He attended school at Cumberland High School in Nashville. In 1979 he was introduced to his soon to be wife of 33 years. After many years of living in the Nashville area Mike and Pat moved to Sumner County. Mike was a jokester that loved to laugh and joke with everyone. He was a very giving man that would help any one at any time. He loved anything with wheels, good food, shopping & most of all, his family. He was a good Christian hard working man that will be truly missed. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Willis, Bobby & Jerry Walker. Survived by his loving wife, Pat Walker; children, Cindy White, Josh Walker & Bruce Walker; grandchildren, Teka Brown, Taylor Walker, Tori Walker, Joshua Walker & Amy Walker; great-grandchild, Shamir Brown; brother, Harold Walker Sharon.     Mike was a very caring loving man and he always made everyone feel like family. From the day I met him we had a strong friendship. He was a great man and a wonderful Papi to my son. We loved him dearly and he will be missed very much. Mike, Joshua and I love you with all our hearts. Save us a spot in heaven for we will see you soon.

    Mike!!! its so hard for me to believe your gone! you were a good friend, always ready to help me or anyone else that needed your help! a kind man with a kind heart. I will always treasure all the times you, pat and I went to flea markets, out to eat. and most of all you picking and laughing at me! you will truly be missed!
