Andrea Smith

Andrea Denise Smith, age 51 of Cape Coral, Florida, and formerly of Springfield, TN, passed away on Thursday, March 9. 2023 at Fort Myers Cancer Center, following a five-year battle with Leukemia.

She was born on January 28, 1972 in Springfield. Andrea was a 1990 graduate of Springfield High School and worked for the government in various sectors such as the U.S. Secret Service, U.S. Marshals Service, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. She was a member of Cape Christian Church and was strong in her faith throughout her entire battle with cancer. Andrea had a flare for designing and decorating and loved to shop. She was dearly loved by her family and friends.

Andrea is preceded in death by her Uncle, Clay Wooten, Stepfather, Andy Cianos, Grandfather, Aubrey H. (Pete) Wooten, Grandmother, Myla Ann (Sweetie) Couts Wooten, and Uncle, Larry Eugene Wooten.

She is survived by her three daughters, Amanda, Ashlyn, and Allison Smith; her mother, Carolyn Cianos and her brother, Stephen Smith.

A Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 2 pm with Brother Joe Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Springfield Memorial Gardens with Michael Beauchane, Bobby Couts, Dougie Couts, Terry Couts, James Rawls, Dalton Webb, and Jimmy Webb, Jr. Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, from 11 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
