Andy Roath, age 66, passed away on October 7, 2025, in Nashville, TN. Born in Gallatin, Andy dedicated over 30 years of his life to a successful career laying concrete in the Robertson County Area, a profession he approached with the same dedication and passion that he brought to every aspect of his life.
Andy was not only a skilled craftsman but also a storyteller whose humor and laughter filled the lives of those around him. He had a remarkable ability to bring joy to any gathering, making everyone feel welcome through his light-hearted conversation and infectious spirit.
At the heart of Andy's life was his cherished family. He spent countless joyful moments with his wife, Denise, and their children, creating a wealth of happy memories. Andy was particularly fond of spending time with his grandchildren, enjoying fishing outings that brought smiles and laughter, as well as taking leisurely rides, observing the deer, and appreciating the beauty of God's creation during evening country rides.
A proud man, Andy considered his family to be his greatest accomplishment, alongside the establishment of Rock Hard Concrete. His dedication to his work and family left a lasting impact that will resonate within the hearts of all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Helen Roath, daughter, Rachael Roath, and brothers, Bo Roath and Joseph Roath,
Andy is survived by his loving wife of 35 year, Denise Roath, children, David Roath, Clint (Brooke) Johnson, Joshua Roath and Quinton Roath; grandchildren, Jack Johnson, Leilani Roath, Emma Roath, and Silas Roath; siblings, Pete (Jeanne) Roath, Janice Pinkleton, Jennifer (David) Simpson, Connie (Ray) Davidson, and Sanford "Beno" (Kim) Roath; sister -in-law, Carolyn Roath and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Life Celebration will be held on Friday, October 17th at 6pm in the Chapel of Springfield Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be from 3pm until the time of service.
Andy's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the special moments he created with his siblings and extended family. He will be missed dearly but remembered fondly for the joy he brought into the lives of others.
