Ann Moore Lett, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2026, in her lifelong home of Adairville, Kentucky. Born October 16, 1932, in Adairville, Ann spent 93 wonderful years loving her family, serving others, and living a life deeply rooted in her faith.

Ann was the daughter of the late George and Cora Hart Moore. She married the love of her life, Earl Gossett Lett, and together they built a beautiful life centered around faith, family, hard work, and finding joy in the simple things for 73 years. Earl’s passing left an empty place in her heart, but the love they shared remained with her throughout her life.

Ann leaves behind her loving son, Brad Lett, and daughter, Sharon Head; grandchildren, Jennifer Emerson, Ashley Lett, and Caleb Head; and great grandson, Ethan Emerson. Her family was truly her greatest joy. She never thought of her in laws as anything other than her own children, and she loved taking care of and spoiling the people she loved. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, especially her dear grandson Caleb.

Ann was simply a caregiver at heart. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome, safe, and loved. If someone needed help with their children or simply needed a day to rest, Ann was there. She loved children and taught Sunday School for as long as she physically could, even when getting up from the floor became a little harder than it used to be.

Taking care of others came naturally to Ann. Over the years, she lovingly cared for Earl’s grandparents, parents, and siblings. She also participated in disaster relief efforts whenever she was able. If someone needed help, Ann wanted to be there. She lived her faith through what she did for others every single day.

Ann loved to cook, and there was always room for someone else at her table. Her food was loved by family and friends, and some dishes were so good they had a way of disappearing before they ever made it to where they were supposed to go.

After working outside the home until Brad began school, Ann devoted herself to her family and their farm while Earl worked at UNARCO. One anniversary, Earl surprised her with a new plow. For Ann, it was the perfect gift and a sweet reminder of just how well he knew her.

She also enjoyed the simple things in life, including watching “The Price is Right,” especially when Bob Barker was the host.

More than anything, Ann loved the Lord and loved her family. Her faith was not something she simply talked about. It was something she lived. You could see it in the way she cared for people, welcomed them into her home, fed them, helped them, and loved them.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ann’s life during visitation on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Springfield Memorial Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 4005 Memorial Blvd., Springfield, Tennessee. A second visitation will be held Friday, August 14, 2026, from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at New Hope Baptist Church, 5594 Prices Mill Rd., Adairville, Kentucky, with a Celebration of Life service beginning at 2:00 P.M. with Brother Danny Pace and Brother Carl Freudenthal officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with Scott Emerson, Ethan Emerson, John Wright, Wesley Wright, Kevin Westroy and Michael Keith serving as pallbearers and Brian Wooden, David Wimpee, Kevin Costello, Steve Perry and Troy Shull serving as Honorary Pallbearers.

Ann leaves behind so much more than memories. She leaves behind a family who knew they were loved, generations of people who were touched by her kindness, and an example of what it means to live a life of faith and service. She will be deeply missed, but the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
