Barbara Ann Williams-Hughes, age 84 of Greenbrier, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016 surrounded by her beloved family.

She was born on February 16, 1932 to the late William Thomas "Willie" and Gladys Brown Weaver in Robertson County, Tennessee. She was a bank teller for US Bank and owner and operator of Triple Service Market in Greenbrier for 20 years with her late husband, Richard "Dick" Williams. She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.

Mrs. Barbara was described as a loving, and understanding person. She spent her time making sure friends and family knew the Lord and giving them a reason to smile, she loved to read her Bible. Her first husband Dick and she started the tradition where after they closed the Market they would drive up to Shoney's and order Hot Fudge Sundays and coffee, just sitting and chatting about anything and everything for hours. She would continue this tradition years later when she would marry Jim Hughes.

The family spoke of vacations to Florida and to the Smokey Mountains where she was the life of the party. She enjoyed spending time shopping with Vickie looking for new shoes and a purse to match and dinner at Pineapple Willies, her favorite restaurant.

In later years, the joy she gave to other was returned to her by her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She looked forward to visits from Sandra and Betty and she loved her overnight stays with Joy, Phillip and Tommy.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Barbara is preceded in death by her first husband Richard "Dick" Williams; son, Ricky Williams; second husband George Edward "Jim" Hughes; and brother, Paul Weaver.

She is survived by her children, Michael L. "Mike" Williams, and Vickie (Wally) Scott; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and a host of family members too numerous to count.
