Buddy Davidson

John Calister "Buddy" Davidson. Our precious son passed away peacefully in our arms at 3:45pm on December 11, 2019. He was 24 days shy of his 18th birthday. Buddy was a brave little boy; Buddy's spirit manifested the gentleness of Jesus Christ. He drew us and many others out of the busyness of life and into what is important. We praise God for we know that Buddy's sweet soul is in Heaven and his body has been fully restored where there is no more sickness, no sorrow, no crying and no pain. Our little boy is dancing with the angels.
Dear sweet son onto heaven you go-we tried so hard to keep you here. But you came to help us and to teach us and you loved beyond the words you never spoke. So, spend your endless days in eternal joy, finally jumping and laughing and singing-run and play until we come and hold you again and then on that day, to us, more joy you will bring. The angels truly rejoice today.
Buddy is survived by his beloved parents, Steve & Telese; grandparents Eddie & Jeannie Cole; 7 brothers and sisters' numerous cousins, nephews and nieces who will all miss him dearly.
A Life Celebration will be held on Sunday December 15th at 2pm in the Chapel of Springfield Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Springfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 14th from 4-6pm then again on Sunday from noon until the time of service.
