Carol Dixon

July 22, 1939 — July 6, 2013

Born in Clevland, OH on July 22, 1939 Departed on July 6, 2013 and resided in Hendersonville, TN

CAROL JO DIXON 7/22/39-7/6/13 of Hendersonville, TN, shared her life, heart and love with her husband, Sam Dixon, for over fifty years. They have three children; their oldest a son, Danny Jenny Dixon, and twin girls; Sherri Mark Holmes and Terri Webb Rizor. She lived her life with a servant's heart and tremendous grace. To be a small woman physically, she had incredible strength.
She was blessed to have nine grandchildren; Sam, Jessica, and Julia Rizor, Taylor and Jonah Holmes, Tyler Dixon, Kim Dorris, Rob Kassidy Dorris, and Kelly Wes Jones. All of whom will never forget her. Some of her most treasured items were the memories of the time she spent with them.
She was the oldest of eight children born to Matthew and Dorothy Zorn in OH. She is survived by all of her siblings except her brother David, whom she looked forward to seeing again. She had an incredible faith which she loved to share with those she came in contact. Her faith gave her a depth of character to live out her life here and the certainty of where she was going.
She had the love and respect of her many brothers and sisters in-law. When she married into her husband's family, her family went from large to huge. She has over forty nieces and nephews; whose lives she also impacted.
There have been many people touched by the life of Carol Dixon. Her fingerprints can be seen all over the people she has come in contact through her love and active involvement in her church, Center Point General Baptist Church, and the organizations of Eastern Star and the Rainbow Girls.
She will be missed; she is loved, and she will not be forgotten.
