Caylin Rae Wilson, of Adams, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly after a car accident on October 17, 2026, at the age of 22. Born on December 27, 2003, in Springfield, Tennessee, Caylin was a bright young woman whose life, though far too brief, was filled with creativity, laughter, and love for those around her.
A graduate of Jo Byrns High School, Caylin brought energy and dedication into her work and daily life. She worked at Walmart as a Customer Service Representative and OPD Associate, where she took great pride in handling the orders entrusted to her. She approached her responsibilities with care and commitment, reflecting the good head on her shoulders that so many admired in her.
Caylin was creative by nature and found joy in all things arts and crafts. She especially enjoyed coloring books, painting, and making jewelry. She liked to play volleyball and treasured going to social events and family outings. One way she had the opportunity to show her creative side was attending the annual Tie Dye Party at Red River Valley Canoe and Campgrounds with her family. It was also here that she would also enjoy time spent in the beauty of the outdoors kayaking. As the eldest, she also enjoyed rough housing with her two brothers, a memory that speaks to her playful spirit and the close bond she shared with her family.
Those who knew Caylin will remember her as funny, smart, and bright. She was described by her parents as a good kid, and by others as a bright young girl whose presence brought warmth and life wherever she went. Her personality, her smile, and the way she embraced both work and fun will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Caylin is proceeded in death by her grandmother Denise Wilson and great grandfather Charles Wilson.
She is survived by her parents Samantha and Christopher Peebles, brothers Isaiah Peebles and Dillian Doss, grandparents Shannon and Larry Wooten. She is also survived by Tommy Stuard III, whom she loved dearly; her lifelong friend, Daycee, who had looked forward to having her stand by her side on her wedding day; as well as many other dear friends who will cherish her memory.
Family and friends are invited to honor Caylin's life at Springfield Memorial Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 4005 Memorial Blvd, Springfield, TN 37172. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. with a graveside service immediately afterward at 2:45 p.m.
