Christopher Lee Floyd, age 44, of Springfield and formally of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, passed away on February 8, 2018 at his home.
He was born on February 8, 1974, in Huntingtown, Maryland to Don Bernard and Patricia Sue Floyd becoming the third of six children. Chris attended Berkeley High School in Moncks Corner. He worked for a time with his Uncle Bill in construction and then found his dream job working for LKQ Pick Your Park, pulling cars apart. He transferred with LKQ, from South Carolina last year to Nashville to be closer to his sister.
Chris was described as a simple man. He was a hard worker and dedicated to his family. He enjoyed movies like Star Wars and Sponge Bob. You could find him most weekends at the Drag Races, fishing by the river, Car Shows or at home spending time with his family. On Sundays you would find the family eating dinner and enjoying fellowship with each other before the start of their busy week.
It is the family's hope that Chris is catching up with his dad and meeting his grandfather for the first time. Getting to know his sisters' babies and seeing Jesus face to face.
Chris will forever be remembered as a man that loved with his whole heart and like his grandmother he was loyal to the death about whatever and would never wavier right or wrong.
