Connie Dies Jarvis Cobern- age 68 of Hendersonville, passed away on March 5, 2014 at her home. Connie was a cookbook author and retired bus driver for Sumner County Pupil Transportation. She was a woman of faith who was a lover of God's things. She had many interests throughout her life including antiquing, yard sales, nature, traveling, music, crafts, dancing, cooking, writing, dining out, going to the beach and gardening. She will forever be remembered for being a selfless woman who was very nurturing and adored her family. Connie was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
Preceded in death by her mother, Frances Baxter Pickens; father, Harold Dies; sister, Nancy Dies and son, Jason Richard Jarvis.
Survived by her loving husband, Neal Cobern; sister, Linda Weiss; daughters, Sandra Haddock Reed, L'Oreal Jarvis Stephens and Anna Jarvis; grandchildren, Kyle Irwin, Justin Reed, Shannon Reed, Ian Cobern, Zachary Barker, Kevin Stephens, Jacob Jarvis, Thomas Finch, Jenae Finch, Olivia Jarvis, Patrick Cobern and Emma Cobern; great-grandchildren, Kingston Stephens and Colton Irwin.
A Life Celebration Service will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 2-8 p.m. and Sunday from 12-2 p.m., at Hendersonville Funeral Home, 353 Johnny Cash Pkwy., Hendersonville, TN 37075; (615) 824-3855; springfieldfh.wpengine.com
