Cynthia Lea Johnson age 59, passed away May 11, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband, D. Gowan Johnson and her parents, Newman G. and Lessie Hall. She is survived by children, Carlea Almanza (Wesley) and Dustin Johnson (Malayna); grandchildren, Kaylea, Emily, Natalee Almanza and Marissa, Blake & Nathan Carmack; brother, Randy Hall; sister, Kathi Deglopper Daniel and best friend, Jim Gebhart.
Cynthia loved her family and one special hobby she started with her granddaughter was raising chickens for 4-H. She had a rooster named "Big Red" who she trained to walk on a leash. She ended up having 70 chickens.
Along with raising chickens, she was also an avid golfer and fisherman. She will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be deeply missed.
A life celebration service will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 2 pm in the Hendersonville Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Davis "Buddy" Daniel officiating. Interment will follow in the Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 from 4-8pm and continue on Wednesday from 12-2pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home 353 Johnny Cash Pkwy Hendersonville, TN 37075 (615)824-3855
