Deborah Jane Spratlin Williams, "Debbie", passed away March 21st 2020 at 57 years old. She was born to Alfred and Betty Spratlin on January 24th, 1963. Debbie was a high school graduate of Vardaman Mississippi and an honor graduate of Northwest Mississippi Junior College in Senatobia Mississippi.
Debbie met the love of her life, Gary Williams, in college where he was studying to earn his degree in Dairy Science. He has been a Feed Specialist for the Tennessee Farmers Co-op for 30 years. Debbie worked as a hair stylist for 8 years before she became a stay-at-home mom to raise their three children. They, along with Gary's parents John and Yvonne Williams, own a farm in Cedar Hill Tennessee where they raise beef cattle.
Debbie was very active in her community where she attended Cedar Hill United Methodist Church. She served as director of Vacation Bible School, helped with many after school programs, and served as the president and treasurer of the Jo Byrns School PTA. She loved keeping the books for Volleyball, basketball, and softball as long as her children were involved. Debbie returned to work at the Gallery of Artistic Design as the Office Manager where she worked for 12 years.
Her greatest accomplishments were raising her three children with Gary. Britney, who is living in Canada as an artist, Laura Beth, who works as a dental hygienist in Hawaii, and Kyle, who served in the Marine Corps for four years.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Gary and their three children, Britney, Laura Beth, and Kyle, along with Laura Beth's husband, Steve Iversen. Her brothers, Ricky and Toney along with their families. Her mother, Betty Spratlin. And her in-laws, John and Yvonne Williams.
In lieu of flowers, Debbie wishes any contributions being made in her memory go to Martha's Song through NorthCrest Medical center in Springfield, Tennessee. Martha's Song provides help to Robertson County residents who are dealing with cancer.
