Donald E. "Lucas" McCain, age 68 of Greenbrier, passed away on October 6, 2015.

He was born on July 30, 1947 to the late Giles A. and Mildred R. McCain in Spring City, Tennessee.

Mr. McCain served in the United States Navy during Vietnam and was an "Irish True Blue". He enjoyed spending time with his close friends and family fishing, hunting, target practice, and traveling when he was able.

In addition to his parents, Mr. McCain was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine Genkins McCain and step-daughter, Sue Ellen King.

He is survived by his cousin, June (Robert) Hill; son-in-law, Gilbert (Sheila) King and close friends, Howard Jackson, Randy (Reba) Smith, and Joe Brewer.

A Life Celebration was held on Friday, October 9th at 1pm in the Chapel of Springfield Funeral Home. Burial followed at Springfield Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
