Edna Mae Pittman, age 76 of Springfield passed away December 14, 2015. Mrs. Pittman was born on March 16, 1939 in Pasadena, Texas to the late Aubrey Mitchell Powers and Irma L. Parks Powers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Pittman, Sr. and her brother, Roy Powers. She is survived by her children, Stella McCloy (George), Henry Alfred Pittman, Jr. and Kathy Morrison (Brian); grandchildren, Joshua Embry, Allizia Young (Shane), Amanda Nofchissey (Robert) and Benjamin Morrison; and great-grandchildren, Ariel Gower, Leyla Young, Zoey Nofchissey and Abigail Nofchissey. A life celebration will be held on Wednesday, December 16th at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Springfield Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Stratton officiating. Entombment will follow in the Springfield Memorial Gardens Chapel Mausoleum. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday from 12 pm until service time.
