Franklin Bundy

Franklin Douglas Bundy, Sr; age 78, of Springfield, passed away on June 9, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Nashville, TN on October 24, 1944 to the late Henry Lee Bundy and Nannie Estelle Edmunds. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, James Lee Bundy.

Frank is survived by his children, Franklin Douglas Bundy, Jr. (Becky), Shannah Creel (Scott), Cara Yates (David), grandchildren, Bailey Vaughn, Sydney Creel, Rachel Creel, Jaxson Vaughn, Austin Vaughn, and Jadan Yates; great grandchildren, Blake Allender; brother, Donnie Bundy (Margie); and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Frank grew up and lived most of his life in Nashville, TN and later made Springfield, TN his home where he enjoyed the country life. He loved being outside, either mowing his yard or working in his garden. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Atlanta Braves. He was also a great cook, roast being his specialty. He was a loving father, Pawpaw, brother, and friend who will be very missed.

The family will hold a memorial gathering from 1-3pm on Saturday, June 17^th at his home.
