Freida Danforth

Freida Diane Danforth, age 77 of Springfield passed away on March 6, 2021 at NorthCrest Medical Center.

Mrs. Freida was born on September 10, 1943 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Fred and Irene McCluskey. She worked for over 20 year as a Food Service Assistant at Morning View Elementary School and Wares Ferry Road Elementary School in Montgomery, Alabama. Mrs. Freida loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was described as the most caring and giving women that was ready to travel at a moment's notice.

She will always be remembered as loving mom, nanny and sister.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Freida was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

She is survived by her children, Raymond (Shirley) Danforth, Veniece (Terry) Capps and Samantha (Chris) Hanson; grandchildren, Jamie (Jordan) Prater, Brandon Danforth, Daniel Danforth, Chad (Marie) Kite, Jonathan (Shanna) Kite, Amber (Clifton Jennings) Danforth, Preston Hanson, and Shane (Bethany) Hanson; 8 great- grandchildren; and three sisters, Shelby (Victor) Trechetta, Sherril (Steven) Vance and Jerald (Edward) Peetersee.

A special recognition is given to Raymond Danforth, Daniel Danforth and Preston Hanson for the love, care and dedication they have given to their Mom and Nanny.
