Grayson "Greg" Swinson, age 56 of Greenbrier passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Skyline Medical Center.

Grayson was born on November 7, 1962 to Edward Swinson, Jr. and the late Minnie Wilson Swinson. He was a free spirit and lived life how he wanted to. He enjoyed working on cars, plumbing and was very social. His family and friends were very important to him and he especially loved his dog waffles. Grayson had a true passion for creating stuff and building things around the house. You could find him most fall nights around a bonfire at home, canoeing on Red River, with a story waiting to be told.

His family said he died like he lived, "In a blaze of glory and on his terms."

In addition to his mother, Grayson is preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Swinson.

He is survived by his father Edward Swinson, Jr; children, Christina (Chris) Heard, Grayson Swinson, Jr., Brandy Swinson, and Alescia Swinson; grandchildren, Charissa Heard, Kayleigh Ayers, Kylie Swinson, Kinsley Hardin, and Khyree Bryant; and siblings Debbie Kehres, Jeff Swinson and Benji Swinson.

A Life Celebration will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 4pm in the chapel of Springfield Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4pm.
