Henry Fyke Farmer, Jr. “Buddy” age 70 of Nolensville and formally of Springfield passed away at his home on April 9, 2023.

Buddy was born on December 2, 1952, to the late Fyke and Mary Farmer in Springfield. He was a 1971 Springfield High School graduate, and an amazing athlete playing basketball and football. Buddy was the quarterback for Coach Smith.  Buddy moved to Nolensville after returning home from the University of Tennessee Knoxville, where he became a master carpenter building unique masterpieces for customers along with building his own house. He loved spending time outdoors raising a garden, taking care of his yard, writing songs, and playing the guitar.

Buddy’s kind nature and loving personality will live in the hearts of all that knew him.

He is survived by his sister, Sandra Farmer Givens and a host of friends.

A Graveside Service will be conducted on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 11 am in the Garden of Christus at Springfield Memorial Gardens. Online condolences can be made at
