Ina-Lynn Cantrell, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on April 27, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee, at the age of 77. Born on May 17, 1947, in Fredricksburg, Virginia, Ina dedicated her life to capturing the beauty of the world through her photography. After earning an associate's degree in Visual Communication from Nashville Tech, she channeled her artistic talents into a fulfilling career. While she spent a few years working as a Quality Control Inspector at Oscar Meyer and Photo Lab Manager at various locations, it was her unwavering passion for photography that defined her professional journey.

Lynn's life was rich with experiences and cherished memories. She adored traveling to Key West, Florida, and any beach where she could embrace the sun and family. She found joy in riding motorcycles and created unforgettable moments with her husband, Tony, in their cherished Airstream, "Della Excella." Their adventures were beautifully showcased on Instagram, reflecting her love for both life and the captivating world around her. Ina's vibrant spirit was complemented by her appreciation for nature, evidenced by her love for bird watching. She also thrived in the kitchen, delighting her family with tried-and-true recipes and even new ones she found, including her famous biscuits, sausage casserole, and green beans cooked in a ole pot passed down through generations.

Her personality shone brightly; she loved to the fullest degree, constantly finding the good in life and in those she met. Whether with family, friends, or even a stranger, Ina had a unique ability to discover joy in the little things, often gathering loved ones for family photos or relishing in the beauty of a simple fallen leaf.

Ina is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Anthony "Tony" Cantrell. She leaves behind her loving children, Kara-Lynn (Rockne "Rocky" Oliver, Sr.) Cantrell and Kory W. (Brandy) Cantrell. Her cherished grandchildren, William Valentine Cantrell-Amick, Charlie Cantrell, and Jesse Cantrell, will carry forward her loving legacy, enriched by the innumerable memories they shared.

She is also survived by her siblings: Wayne (Lise) Thomas, Robert (Lue Mosher) Thomas, and Cassandra Thomas (David) Stewart, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and sister-in-laws, Laura Thomas and Tammy Thomas.

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, David and Martha Thomas, and her siblings, David Thomas, Jr. and Larry Thomas. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
