Ike was born on August 30, 1926 in Marshall County, TN to the late Allen and Emma Dalton. At an early age, Ike went to work and began to help and support his family working on the farm. Ike also loved to square dance and pick his guitar. His family enjoyed hearing him pick and sing "Walk the Line." In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Willie Mae Dalton. He is survived by his wife, Lavona Dalton of Hendersonville; daughters, Judy (Ronnie) Cox, Joyce (David) Justice, Dianne (Gary) Mayo and Beverly (John) Evans all of Greenbrier; 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Ethel Hulsey of Greenbrier and Bernice Smith of Lewisburg.
