Jackie Drew

Jackie Dean Drew age 60 of Springfield, passed away at Alive Hospice in Nashville.

He was born on July 28, 1962, in Hammond, Indiana to the late Jack and Mary Kathleen Shelton Drew. Jackie was a graduate of Springfield High School. He worked for many years as a framer for Drew Crew Construction. He enjoyed spending time with his family, tinkering in his shop making copper items and lighter, or working on his ‘68 Camaro.

In addition to his parents, Jackie is preceded in death by his siblings, David L. Drew and Latisha Drew.

He is survived by his wife of 11 years Monica Drew; children, Justin (Christina) Drew of Missouri and Summer (Alikia) Cook of California; stepson, Daniel Lee Burns; 7 grandchildren.

A life celebration will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023, at 1 pm in the chapel of Springfield Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Springfield Memorial Gardens.
