Jacqueline Sweatman, age 63 of Hendersonville, TN was born on January 27, 1951 and passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on February 10, 2014.
Jackie led a life devoted to her faith in Christ and in service to her community. She will be remembered for her kindness and selflessness. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a patient friend. Jackie had a knack for providing a quiet ear and wise counsel to anyone in need.
Jackie was born and lived her life through High School in Kansas City, MO. She attended and Graduated from North Kansas City High School. She received her under graduate degree from Metro State in Denver and her Master's degree from Azusa Pacific University. She was happily married to her High School sweetheart for 43 years. Throughout her life she lived and raised her family in: Kaneohe Bay, HI, Cape Girardeau, MO, Denver, CO, Muscatine, IA, Fountain Valley, CA, and Hendersonville, TN. She was an elementary school teacher in Muscatine Iowa, Garden Grove California, and Hendersonville, Tennessee. Jackie was the head of women's ministry at Calvary Baptist Church in Muscatine, IA.
She is survived by: Bill Sweatman(Husband), Julie Schloss(Daughter), Tim Schloss(Son-in-law), Andrew Sweatman(Son), Jessica Sweatman(Daughter-in-law), Bertie Lee Williams(Mother), Bob Williams(Brother), Nancy Williams(Sister-in-law), Tom Williams(Brother), Alida Williams(Sister-in-law), Mike Sweatman(Brother-in-law), and Teri Sweatman(Sister-in-law). She was also survived by 7 Grandchildren: Jacob Schloss, Sara Schloss, Joey Schloss, Henry Schloss, Maxwell Sweatman, Charlotte Sweatman, and Zoey Sweatman. She is preceded in death by Glenn Williams (Father) and Beckie Sweatman Stepp(Daughter).
A celebration of her life will be conducted at First Baptist Church, Hendersonville, TN on February 22nd at 1:00 PM.
