Jerry Dean Bradley

Jerry Dean Bradley, a beloved Minister from Oklahoma, passed away at the age of 80, peacefully in the presence of his loved ones on June 25th, 2023, in Springfield, TN.  

He was born in Stratford, OK on May 21st, 1943 to Ira Amsden Bradley and Neoma Walker Bradley. Jerry had a strong passion for the Lord and leading others to Christ.  His knowledge of the Bible was remarkable.  He obtained two Bachelor degree’s in  Theology and Bible Language. 

Jerry had numerous hobbies which included sculpting, woodworking, archery, bow making and playing the harmonica. In his younger days he also enjoyed boxing, riding motorcycles, fishing, and hunting.

His career spanned over six decades where he worked as a pastor and as a children’s minister. Jerry was passionate about showing the love of Christ to children and leading them to salvation. It was a calling of his heart that he embraced for many years with admirable dedication. His kindness towards all those he met endeared him to countless individuals.

Jerry was a devoted husband and loving father.  He is survived by his: wife- Marie Bradley; daughter- Melisa Hall and husband Scott, daughter- Mandy Posey and husband Todd; grandchildren- Kristina Shults and husband D’Ambrey, Melanie Merriman and husband Robbi, Chase Hall and wife Melissa, Paige Yearby and husband Casey, Tanner Hall and wife Grace, Colton Posey and wife Kailee, and Colby Posey; great-grandchildren- Charlie Shults, Dovie Hubbard, Marsean Hubbard, D’Andre Hubbard, Marlee Merriman, Micajah Merriman, Violet Hall, Cohen Hall, Adelyn Yearby, Turner Yearby, Landon Hall, Lane Hall; Brother Darrell "Butch" (Evelyn) Bradley; sister Vonda (Dale) Andrews.  Brother-in-law- George Yuhas.  Son-in-law- Gary Singleton.  He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents- Ira and Neoma Bradley, daughter- Michelle Singleton and sisters- Daphna Andrews and Bonita Yuhas and two infant brothers.


Jerry's dedication to the Lord was evident to all those who knew him and will be missed by all. His gentle soul and our memories of him will forever be a blessing.
