Josie Williamson

Mrs. Josephine Brown "Josie" Williamson, age 72 of Hermitage, passed away October 30.

She was a native of Springfield, daughter of the late Sam and Mary Qualls Brown, Jr., and a librarian during her working career.

Josie loved gardening and boating, and had a special passion for art - especially drawing and photography. She and her husband, Bunky, spent many vacations traveling the world together as long as health allowed.

In addition to her huband: Edgar "Bunky" Williamson of Hermitage, she is survived by nephews: Rick Goad (Helen) of Dayton, OH, Dee Goad (Carol) of Springfield; niece: Mandy (Jacob) Schutz of Stafford, VA and nephew: Michael (Kimiko) Litzau of Potomac, MD. She is also survived by her Scotty and best buddy: Winston.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Alzheimer's Foundation.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 2pm at Springfield Memorial Gardens 4005 Memorial Blvd Springfield, TN 37172: 615-384-5437.
