Kenneth Hall

July 11, 1945 — April 17, 2023

Greenbrier, TN

Kenneth E. “Kenny” Hall, age 77 of Greenbrier, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023.

He was born on July 11, 1945, in Gadsden, Alabama to the late Artis and Naomi Hornbuckle Hall. Kenny worked for many years as a bus driver until he became the Superintendent of Transportation at Pace West Suburban Bus Company.  His passion was always racing. He raced Stock Eliminators and loved every minute of it. His other love was taking care of his yard. All his neighbors would tell you he had the best grass around.

Ken had a loving and caring personality; it is said if you loved him, you loved him but if you didn’t well….…. If you were fortunate to know Ken, you loved him forever. He would go out of his way to help anyone. He was a super nice man that was very giving and generous. He loved people and would hold a conversation with anyone he enjoyed. Donna can remember vacations spent in Aruba and Mexico and their all-time favorite Hawaii and while she was enjoying the sun and sand, Ken would find someone to converse with.

For all of these reasons and more, we will hold Ken in our hearts until we meet again.

In addition to his parents, Ken is preceded in death by his sisters, Joann Stimpson and Martha Adams and Brother in law Tom Poull.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Donna Hall; children, Scott (Sue) Hall and Kimberly (Dan) Padilla; grandchildren, Joshua Padilla, Alyssa Padilla and Nick Padilla, Scotty Hall, Kenny Hall and Travis Hall, brother-in-law, Jim Poull, Euell Adams. Sister in laws, Geri Poull and Terry Woosley, Loving uncle to many and to everyone who called him “Uncle Kenny”
