Kimberly Dean Roe, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on August 15, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born on August 2, 1965, in Nashville to her loving parents Harold and Jewel Ellis Curtis. Kimberly was known for her caring and loving nature, always putting the needs of others before her own. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Kimberly's journey in the nursing field began at Baptist Hospital before she ventured into Home Health. However, it was as a Mental Health Nurse that she truly found her passion. Her dedication to providing care for those struggling with mental health challenges touched the lives of many.

Outside of work, Kimberly pursued her hobbies and interests with zest and enthusiasm. She loved boat riding and spending weekends at the lake house that Eric, her husband, had built especially for her. These moments spent surrounded by family and friends brought her immense joy.

Kimberly's educational journey took her from Donelson Christian Academy in high school to Tennessee State University, where she earned her Nursing Degree. Her thirst for knowledge propelled her forward in life and allowed her to make a positive impact on the lives of others through her compassionate nursing care.

One of Kimberly's proudest accomplishments was becoming a NeNe to her granddaughter, Rowan Bailey. She cherished every moment spent with Rowan and treasured their special bond. Being a grandmother brought out an even more nurturing side of Kimberly and filled her heart with immeasurable love.

Kimberly's personality was infectious - happy, fun-loving, and caring. Her presence could light up any room she entered. The memories created with Kimberly will forever be remembered by those fortunate enough to have shared them. She touched countless lives with kindness and left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.

In this tough time of grieving for Kimberly's family and friends, services will be held to celebrate her remarkable life. Visitation services will take place at Springfield Memorial Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center on August 18th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on August 19th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Kimberly leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. She is survived by her loving husband Eric Roe, their daughter Kaitlin E. (Tyler) Bailey, and her cherished granddaughter Rowan Bailey. Her father Harold Curtis, canine companion Toby Roe, and a host of friends also mourn her loss. She is preceded in death by her mother Jewel Curtis and two brothers.

Kimberly Dean Roe will forever be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering love for those around her. She has left an indelible mark on the hearts of many and her spirit will continue to inspire us all.
