Leroy Eugene Moore, age 82 of Greenbrier passed away September 21, 2015 at his home. Mr. Moore was born on October 3, 1932 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee to the late Frank and Lillian Moore. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Moore and sister, Margaret Richards. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Gloria Moore; children, Lee Robert Moore (Joan), Colleen Ellen Baucom (Jimmy) and Sherry Lynne Jenkins (Ricky); 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Mr. Moore was a veteran of the United States Army, retiring after 25 years of service. A life celebration will be conducted on Friday, September 25th at 12:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Springfield Funeral Home with Pastor Samuel Pruitt officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4-8 P.M. and on Friday for one hour prior to the service.
