Malikah Jaylan Roberts-Foster, infant son of David Markize Foster and Kristina Rae Roberts, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.

Born at 28 weeks Malikah weighted 2lbs 9ozs and was 20 inches long. During his three short months here on Earth he touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. Nothing was more exciting than when he came home three weeks ago. His siblings Markize (9), Nathan (9), Mariah (8), Ethan (7) and David, Jr. (2) couldn't wait to meet their little brother.

Even though his life was a brief gift to anyone who met him, it will live on as his heart and liver where donated to those who were in need.

Malikah gave us a lifetime of love that we will cherish forever.

He is survived by his loving parents, David Foster and Kristina Roberts; siblings, Markize Foster, Nathan Roberts, Mariah, Foster, Ethan Roberts, David Foster, Jr.; grandparents, Penny & Tim Russell, Nancy & Ricky Boyce, Shelia Dowlen and David Odom; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Life Celebration will be held at 1pm on October 5, 2017 at Springfield Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Dowlen officiating, burial will follow at Springfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11am until the time of service.

The family request that the Family of Malikah wear bright colors to represent the beautiful life he lived.
