IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Margaret L
Cobb
November 8, 1933 – February 14, 2026
Margaret L Cobb, born on November 8, 1933, in Hammond, Indiana, passed away on February 14, 2026, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She leaves behind a rich legacy of love, laughter, and devotion that will forever echo in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.
Throughout her life, Margaret devoted herself wholeheartedly to both her family and her career. As a Hospital Unit Clerk in the psychiatric ward, she was known not only for her professionalism, but also for the warmth and compassion she shared with patients and colleagues alike.
While she took great pride in her work, her greatest joy was always her family. She was a proud and loving mother to Laurie (David) Wieczorek, Kathy Davis, Cheryl Cobb, Pamela Crawford and John (Michelle) Cobb, each of whom brought immense pride and happiness to her life. Her twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren were among her greatest blessings, and she cherished each one with an open heart and generous spirit. She also held a special place in her heart for her beloved siblings, Jacqueline Harper, Betty Farner, Edith Graves and Roy (Peggy) McCay, whom she loved dearly.
Margaret was known for her fierce devotion to her family, standing as their constant source of strength, love, and protection. Her nieces and nephews adored her, often proclaiming her to be their favorite aunt. She had a remarkable ability to connect personally with each of them, making them feel cherished and supported. Margaret's open-door policy for friends and family was legendary; anyone in need of a place to stay or a listening ear knew they could always count on her warmth and hospitality.
Her life was filled with joyful moments and cherished hobbies. Margaret loved to dance, and every Friday night, you could find her at a dance in Robertson County, reveling in the music and the company of friends. Tuesday and Thursday afternoon were reserved for her beloved FabFive Nights, where she gathered with friends to play dominos and Rook, creating cherished memories along the way. Margaret also shared her beautiful singing voice with her siblings, harmonizing together in church and traveling to different congregations to spread joy through song.
Her faith was a cornerstone of her life. Margaret had a profound love for her Lord and Savior and found immense joy in attending Regeneration Nashville. Her belief shaped her actions and interactions, influencing those around her and resonating through the community she served.
Margaret now joins her beloved parents, John and Erma McCay, her son John Cobb, and her sister, Jacqueline Harper in rest. She was a pillar of strength and love whose impact will be felt for generations to come.
