Survived by husband, Charles Franklin Pennington; daughter, Ellen Brown; son, Bo Gibson; step-son, Charles Pennington, Jr.; sister, Phyllis Spencer Gentry; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation Monday 2-8 p.m.
