Mary Louise Miller

Mary Louise Miller, 69, of Cedar Hill, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 16, 2023.  Born August 7, 1954, in Clarksville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Harold & Evelyn Kennedy.

She married her high school sweetheart and longtime friend, Carl Daniel Miller, in September of 1972.  They had just celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary.

Mary was a dedicated mother first and foremost.  She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them.  She especially loved her role as "Nana".  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, nana, aunt, sister, daughter and friend.  She had a smile that would light up the room.  She lived a full life as a wonderful mother, homemaker, and worked at Jo Byrns.  Mary was a living example of Ephesians 4:32 "And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you with Christ."

All whom loved her dearly will never forget her smile, charm, grace and undying love.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Danny Miller; daughters Laura Beth McCaslin and Mary Evelyn (Dusty) Green; grandsons Cameron McCaslin, Owen McCaslin, and J Dan Boileau; siblings Wayne (Pam) Kennedy, Carole (John) Ballman, and Michael (Paula) Kennedy; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A Celebration of Mary's Life will take place on Friday, December 22, at 1 pm at Springfield Funeral Home and will be officiated by Tim Pentecost.  The family will welcome friends and visitors from 11 am until 1 pm on Friday.  Burial will follow at Bellwood Cemetery in Adams, Tennessee.  Pallbearers will be John Ballman, Kevin Ashabraner, Michael Kennedy, Steve Swetman, Dusty Green and J Dan Boileau.
