Mary Gladys Hudgens Nash, age 92 of Nashville passed away on November 2, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born on February 13, 1923 in Cheatham County, TN to the late Thomas Durham Hudgens, Sr. and Vivian Everett Hudgens. Mary was born and raised in Cheatham County and graduated from Cheatham County Central High School. She lived most of her adult life in Davidson County, she was a longtime employee and retired from Aladdin Industries and was a member of Ashland City Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Durham Hudgens, Jr. and his wife Sue; and her sister, Mildred Hudgens Morris and her husband, Paul. She is survived by her sons, Raymond (Pam) Nash, Randy (Debbie) Nash, Sr. and David (Amy) Nash; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Juanita Eller; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, November 5th at 11:00 A.M. at Boyd Funeral Home, 101 Elizabeth Street, Ashland City, TN with Rev. Joe Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Tom Morris, Dan Morris, A. J. Morris, David Hudgens, Jeff Hudgens, Jim Hudgens, Joe Davis, Randy Nash, Jr., Phillip Nash and Alan Nash. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, November 4th from 3-7 P.M. and on Thursday one hour prior to the service all at Boyd Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Forest Hill Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 82, Ashland City, TN 37015.
