Melinda was born on August 31, 1987, in Springfield, Tennessee, and peacefully passed away on June 30, 2026, leaving behind a family who will forever cherish the love and memories she gave them.

Above all else, Melinda loved being a mother. As a devoted stay-at-home mom, she dedicated her life to caring for her two children, who were the center of her world. She also treasured the time she spent with her three nieces, creating memories filled with laughter, love, and the simple joys of family.

She is lovingly remembered by her mother and stepfather, Michael and Barbara Carter; her brother, Karry Parrigin; her beloved children, Jordan and Jadan Neely; and her cherished nieces, Alesia, Brooke, and Lexi. Each of them carries a piece of her heart and will continue to honor her memory through the love they shared.

She was preceded in death by her father, Karry Lester Parrigin, Sr., who welcomed her home with open arms.

Melinda had a gentle heart and a caring spirit. Although life presented her with many struggles, those who knew and loved her will remember the kindness she showed, the love she gave so freely, and the moments that made her uniquely herself. Her absence leaves an emptiness that can never truly be filled, but her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

She will be deeply loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
