Orley Warren Anderson, age 79, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026 in Springfield, TN. He was born on December 4, 1946, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Warren proudly served his country in the United States Army during his early years. He dedicated more than 30 years of service to Northcrest Medical Center, where he worked in the Maintenance Department and was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to help others. Before his career at Northcrest, he worked at the Holiday Inn.

A faithful member of Lights Chapel Baptist Church in Greenbrier, Tennessee, Warren found great joy in the simple blessings of life. He loved spending time fishing, deer hunting, riding his bike, and visiting the Great Smoky Mountains. He also had a special love for Noah's Ark and enjoyed listening to the music of Danny Crabtree. One of the greatest blessings of his life was marrying his high school sweetheart, Virginia, with whom he shared 60 wonderful years of marriage.

Warren is survived by his beloved wife, Virginia Anderson, son, Tracy (Krista) Warren Anderson, grandchildren, Lincoln James Warren Anderson and Kortlin Blane Anderson, sister, Caroline Reese;

Preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Doris Anderson, daughter, April Renee Anderson, grandparents, Roy and Myrtie.

He leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories with his family and friends, who will forever remember his quiet strength, faithful heart, and love for the outdoors.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 3:30 p.m. at Springfield Funeral Home. Burial will follow immediately after the service.
