PAUL EDWARD TABOLINSKY

November 1, 1942 — March 24, 2024

Paul Edward Tabolinsky, a man whose life was dedicated to family, service, and exploration, passed away on March 24, 2024, in Nashville, Tennessee. Paul was born on November 1, 1942, in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Having served his country with honor and valor, Paul spent three years in the United States Army as an Army Ranger/LRRP during the Vietnam War. His bravery and dedication earned him two Purple Hearts during his three tours of duty. Afterward, he reenlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served for an additional 20 years until his well-deserved retirement.

Beyond his valiant military career, Paul graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Concrete Management and went on to complete his MBA from Southern Illinois University. Paul found joy and purpose in various endeavors. From tending to the football fields and landscapes at Vanderbilt University to pursuing interests in horticulture and agriculture. He had a great passion for science and technology and was a staunch supporter of the Linux operating system. His love for learning about new things shone brightly as he delved into different fields with curiosity and enthusiasm.

Among his proudest accomplishments was setting a strong example of work ethic for his children. With a servant heart, Paul believed in the value of hard work; rising early each day and putting in his best efforts were principles he held dear. His thoughtful nature extended to his interactions with others; always ready to engage in conversation with anyone willing to share some time with him.
