MORTON, Pauline Virginia Smiley- Nashville, March 12, 2012. Preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, George Carl Morton; father, John Wesley Smiley; mother, Pearl Dimple Smiley; sisters, Louise Beard and Opal Gardner. She is survived by her daughter, Carla Pauline Ken Webb; granddaughter, Pauline Virginia Jon Bailey; great-granddaughter, Rachel Pauline Bailey; sister-in-law, Maryann Fry and nieces and nephews. She was always proud that her daughter, granddaughter and great-granddaughter were all named Pauline after her. She worked for several years for Henry I. Siegel in Dickson, TN and then married George Morton and became a high school coach's wife. Her life was her home and her family. She loved working with her beautiful flowers in her yard. She also enjoyed watching Chipper Jones play for the Atlanta Braves. She was a longtime member of the Hillview Church of Christ. The family would like to offer a special thanks to the B-Wing staff at Lakeshore Meadows, Alive Hospice and friends, Vic and Greta Legg for all of their compassion and support . The celebration of life service will be at 10am on Friday, March 16, 2012 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Webb officiating. Interment to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Clyde Dean, Hubert Earl Allen, Red Dillingham, Donnie Brown, Ralph Cassidy, Nolen Deal and Vic Legg. Visitation, Thursday, 5-8pm and one hour prior to the service on Friday at HARPETH HILLS FUNERAL HOME, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, 615 646-9292 www.afamilylegacy.com
