Randall Thomas Adcock, age 59 of Springfield passed away May 14, 2016. Randy was born September 20, 1956 in Davidson County, Tennessee to the late Jesse Gilbert Adcock and Jean Sloan Adcock. Randy spent his younger years with his grandfather in his garage, Adcock's Garage, in Hendersonville. Randy chose law enforcement as his career, being employed by the Sumner County Sheriff's Office, Goodlettsville Police Department, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and retiring as Police Chief in Ridgetop, TN. He ended his career as Security Supervisor at the Bridgestone Arena. In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his son, Dustin Adcock. Randy is survived by his wife, Donna Baggett Adcock; children, Dakota (Whitney) Duncan, Jessica Adcock, Randall Adcock and step-son, Brandon Isabell. He had three grandsons, Diesel, Ashtyn and Axle, who were the loves of his life. He is also survived by his brother, Larry Adcock; sister, Donna (Barry) King, and his in-laws, Tommy & Ruth Baggett, Mike & Robin Baggett and Landon. Randy will also be missed by his sidekick, Dolly. Active pallbearers will be: Darrell Miller, Bill Bratton, John Brown, Wayne Holman, Stephen Holman, Zach Riddell, Jordan Stites and Landon Norrod. A Life Celebration Service honoring Randy will be held on Thursday, May 19th at 1:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Springfield Funeral Home with Bro. Frank Evans and Sister Linda Hatcher officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3-8 P.M. with a Masonic Service to take place at 7 P.M. The family will also receive friends on Thursday morning until the service time at 1 P.M.
