Reba recently reconnected with her niece, Chelsea Withers, strengthening family ties that were incredibly important to her. She often reflecting on them, including her late parents, Robert Mitchell Summers and Shirley Choate, foster parents Mr. and Mrs. Tramell, and her sister, Sherry Cole, who have predeceased her.

A graveside service to honor Reba's life will be held on December 18, 2025, at the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee, starting at 11:00 AM, with military honors to follow, where she will be remembered for her kindness, love, and the joy she brought into the lives of those around her.
